Pink Custard

Sauces and Spicery

A hot pouring sauce of coloured sweet white sauce, most commonly associated with school puddings such as Chocolate Concrete.

Known at least since a reference in ‘Hints to Housewives’ in The Dover Express – Friday 20 January 1893.
