 Diced beetroot, shredded white cabbage and grated horseradish stewed together with vinegar and hot spices. Preserved in jars. Although given by the British Food Trust and other websites as a British or English speciality, this appears to be the German Baltischer Rüben-Geschmack (Baltic Beet Relish). It is not (2013) known commercially in England.  |
