 Dairylea is a Cheddar cheese blended with butter and milk extracts to produce a very soft, but strongly flavoured, paste. Most usually packed in foil triangles.  Daily Mirror – Thursday 22 April 1954 Dairylea was introduced by Kraft Foods in the 1950’s and is now the UK and Ireland’s favourite cheese product by far. It has been criticised for its high levels of fat and salt, though they are probably no higher than many other, more traditional, cheeses.  2018  2018  |
