Caerphilly Cheese

A Pasteurised cow's milk cheese in large rounds with a thick powdery rind. Matured for c2 months. Near-white, semi-hard, crumbly and salty.

The cheese was never originally made in Caerphilly but in nearby English counties and sold at market there, hence the name.
