[email protected] 180 g Gloucester cheese, sliced 1 tsp English mustard 120 ml brown ale 4 slices bread Arrange the cheese slices in the bottom of a shallow casserole dish and spread the mustard over the top of them. Pour in enough brown ale to cover the cheese. Preheat oven to 190°C. Cover dish with foil and bake for about 10 minutes, until the cheese has softened. To serve, toast the bread and pour the warm ale and cheese mixture over the toast. See: Rarebit |
